On February 19th, I received an e-mail I never thought I’d receive. It was an invitation to be a part of the Google Glass Explorer program. Part of me thought the e-mail was not real, but I did some research. I found that recently Google had sent out batches of invites to people who requested Google Glass before. And it happened, I was one of the lucky people π
Of course lucky really meant I had to fork over the $1,500+tax price tag… but I really really thought about it and in the end decided: Yes, please.
Ruben helped me with unboxing my Glass because I was too excited to contain myself and thought I might break it or something (I know kind of sad).

and here’s my first Tweet featuring me wearing them π
Soo excited! Highlight of my week! @googleglass pic.twitter.com/9NEYqRB0Nr

So what now?Β From now on, any posts I share on this blog related to Glass or using Glass will be Categorized under Google Glass and also tagged with #throughglass
Though I got Glass more for just having them as the latest tech toy, I also am researching and considering what apps I might be able to develop or help develop that would help with education. I think there is so much potential for the technology in that area and since I am going to school to be a teacher, it kind of intrigues me.
