Tools I Use | Erin Condren Life Planner

I can honestly say keeping organized with my Erin Condren Life Planner has changed a lot for me on a daily basis. I’m not filled with angst when I glance at my To Do List because I can quickly see and calculate when it will get done. I generally give myself a maximum of 3 Must Do’s for the day (not including my Cleaning Schedule duties).

I have been meaning to do a giveaway on here for a while. I’ve been sharing a lot about my Erin Condren on here and also on YouTube (check out the video below and subscribe for my latest posts). Today, I want to share the tools I use and they will all be put together in a gift for one of my lucky readers!

  1. I only try to get two to-do’s done but if I feel ambitious or the to-dos are very easy I’ll add one or two more things.

  2. I just discovered your channel by searching up “erin condren” and I’m so glad I did. I’ve found inspiration to utilize my planner creatively. — The number of to do’s I assign myself each day is four.(:

  3. Oh man, I have way too many “to dos” every day! I’ve heard of a good technique of keeping an ongoing list of allllll of the things that need to get done, but have a daily list of only three things allowed at any given time. When you check off one of the 3 things, you are allowed to move something from the long list to fill its place. It’s supposed to help you not get overwhelmed! Hmmm, now that I’m talking about it, maybe I need to implement it!! lol

    • I love this idea. I kind of do that… but not as efficiently. Any To-Do’s I didn’t do the prior week I write in RED on the new week’s To Do area. This way I know they’re old and I need to get them done. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. So I work 12 hours shifts.. So on my work days I only have a 10 minute pickup before bedtime.. But in my off days I have around 3-5 to do’s depending on what I’m going to do.. Thank you so much for the chance in this giveaway ☺

    • Those are super long shifts, I’ve done that working as an MA for the Navy and it definitely puts a toll on you! Just make sure one of those To-Do’s are something relaxing for you 🙂

  5. I try to keep it to 3 or 4 to-dos every day, though sometimes I don’t manage to limit it to that!

    • I know it’s hard sometimes when you have a lot going on! For me, I notice that if I put more than 3 or 4 they just don’t all get done and moving them to another day kinda bugs me LOL

  6. Love your channel found it when I was searching erin condren videos (: I try to get 3 to dos done every day !

  7. I give myself at least 5-10 “to do’s” per day! With four kiddos and a full time job, if I don’t write down a “to do” list, I will definitely forget most of what I have going on!

  8. I stopped writing lists. My Daughter would love this. She is almost a 100 percent Student. She saved three peers by befriending them; bless her.
She wants to research Cancer, she has enriched the lives of many c.

  9. I usually have 1-2 “Have to dos” and then I pick 1-2 additional items from the “Should do” list!

    • I like that method. Even though I don’t keep a separate “should do” list, I feel like my list on the left column is kind of my should do and the ones I copy over on my daily calendar are to dos. 🙂

  10. Thank you for the opportunity!! I usually have about 3-4 To Do’s each day. Get it done!

  11. On my to do list there are way too many things.I am working on organization and prioritizing.

  12. I have a chronic illness, so I can’t plan too much in advance and I try not to put too much pressure on myself because that doesn’t help my health, but I usually have about two to do’s that I hope to get done.

Awesome giveaway, thank you for organizing it!

  13. Usually 2 or three. I like to plan out lesson plans for each week and then make a list of things I need to do during naptime (organizing, cleaning, supply gathering) 🙂

  14. I generally try to not give myself more then two or three at the most if I don’t have a whole lot of things i need to get done, aha. So if it’s homework (as I am a student) or cleaning, never more then two – except for the things I don’t have a choice on, if that makes sense? Haha 😀

  15. I have as many as needed – sometimes they are added onto the day before list 🙂

  16. I usually give myself three to-dos each day….whether I get them done or not is another story. Thanks for the chance to win!!!

    • Hey Lana – have you considered using your phones built in list keeper to stay on track (assuming you have a smartphone)? On the go, I like to ask Siri to add things to specific lists (I have different lists for Reminders, Blogging, Shoppping, and more).

  17. I usually try to limit my list to only the top 2 most important things on the weekdays and will go up to 5 on the weekends since I should have more time to try to get things done.

  18. This would be great for my daughter. It’s cute and she can plan all her things for school. Thanks for the opportunity 🙂

  19. It depends though. Maximum of 5-8 tasks, and minimum of 2-4. Btw, thank ypy so much for the chance! Yay!

  20. I am always busy with school activities for the kids, work, appointments etc. My New years resolution was to actually get organized I am half way there. Still working on it.

  21. I assign my self at least 3-8 to do’s because i am a student and when i get my planner i am going to use all of your goodies to decorate .
    love you.

  22. I start off each day with 2 To-Do’s lists:
Today – tasks include calendar appointments, must be done today tasks
Ongoing – tasks include project to do, home improvement, follow-up and misc.
I will create an additional To-Do’s list for events or projects that contain multiply tasks. I have found that To-Do’s lists keep my life organized and I am better prepared to start my day.
