I took the plunge guys! I just ordered my very first Erin Condren Life Planner and I can’t wait for it to arrive. Let me know how you stay organized. I definitely feel like I am way behind on this planner thing for 2015. Especially since I love writing things down and organizing things with lists.
On my desk I have a “For my Information” pad that I try to write in and check off throughout the week. Mine is an older red version, but here’s a product link to it from Amazon.com. These are made by KnockKnock, which have really cool to do list pads and other bookmarks that you can find in some retail stores like Barnes & Noble.
So I’ve been looking for “the right” planner for a while. I have been managing with my iPhone calendars and different to do lists, but nothing has been enough to organize my blogging goals for 2015.
I keep editorial calendars on my MacBook, but having it written down and in a place I can have with me all the time is something I really need (okay want).
After watching a video comparing Erin Condren’s Life Planner to the Day Designer by Summer Saldana (not to mention finding a really cool YouTuber in the process), I was still torn. Like Summer, I really like the Day Designer for having tons os space and a to do list for each day – love that. On the other hand, I feel like I would probably not use it every single day and then end up wasting some of the space… And I really like the appeal and inspiration of Erin Condren’s Life Planner having cool stickers and a more visually bright presentation.

So I ended up ordering an Erin Condren Life Planner and I’m already too anxious for its arrival. I actually decided to go with the “photo Floral” design and it’ll be customized with my name (so cute!)

The planners cost $50 or more (plus accessories), which is kinda steep, but part of me really feels this is more of an investment. If I like using this planner, I could definitely see myself creating a collection of memories with a new book each year.
Once the planner is delivered, I’ll post again about how I plan to use it, and then again to let you all know about my experience with it.
