Review: SlimQuick Pure Protein Powder

I’ve been resetting a bit when it comes to my fitness. I used to be a gym rat and went 4 or 5 times a week. I met with a trainer and was doing everything right with my workouts, but there are always those problem areas that wouldn’t budge.

The fact of the matter is unless you are doing something different in your diet, you won’t see the full potential of the results you want. This is why when I was offered a sample of SlimQuick’s new pure protein powder to review on the blog, I thought it was perfect timing!

As of this post, I’ve been having SlimQuick protein shakes twice a day as directed for 2 weeks. That isn’t that long, but I’m due to share how it’s been so far and I have actually lost some weight.

It’s hard for me to share these photos, mostly because I’m still not where I want to be. Actually THIS is where I want to be and I really feel like I can achieve it if I keep doing stuff like THIS. So far I’ve lost 6 pounds, which I think is pretty good for someone with an okay BMI. My hope is also that soon I’ll be able to post an update with how my abs look! Accountability, right?!

I know the lighting doesn't do this much justice, but I'll try to take better photos. TRUST me, I feel a difference.

I do have to be honest that I was really worried about the taste at first because I do NOT like mixing stuff with water (I usually do milk). But the serving is so small, that I’ve just been drinking it as prescribed. I do think it’s kind of an acquired taste, but it’s only because I know it’s made with water. You could totally do it with milk as long as you count that towards your caloric intake for the day, too.

If you are trying to lost weight, I have to say the most important thing to keep in mind is that it’s NOT about a number on the scale. It’s about feeling good after taking a walk, being able to play with your children, and just feeling great about yourself overall. A lot of that has to do with exercise. A lot of it also has to do with what’s going into your body.

  1. Hi Zully! Thanks for sharing details about SlimQuick Pure. I hadn’t heard of this product before now. It’s so awesome that when using it you were able to shed six pounds. This looks like a product I need to try! I do have a question though: Were you eating any differently or working out more during the two weeks when you experienced the weight loss? What keeps me from being able to adhere to any predeveloped meal plan is that my husband and I are out and about all the time and not home to cook meals.

    • Hey Denay! I wouldn’t say I was eating or exercising differently. I stay pretty active and workout at least 3 days a week (I’m actually editing a YouTube video on that now).

I try to count calories, but it’s secretly something I hate to do and am not consistent in doing so.

So I would say that doing my regular routine, SlimQuick helped me lose weight that otherwise wasn’t budging. I think it did keep me fuller longer in the morning so instead of a regular lunch, I may have a few snacks instead (small salad, fruit, toast with avocado).

Hope that answers your question 🙂 and thanks for checking out my blog!

  2. This is great! I need to try this. I’ve used several protein powders, but then I go off my schedule. I need to give this one a shot. It really does help and make a difference!
