Things in life sure don’t come easy. Today’s motivation Monday quote is inspired by this and I think it’s very important. Don’t just wish for things to happen – work and make them happen! 

Last year, I went to school full time and finally was able to complete my Associate’s Degree. Though this is a huge accomplishment, it’s only the beginning and I’m still working towards my wish of becoming an elementary school teacher.

What am I doing to make it happen?

I’m currently going through the application process with an agency that supplies substitute teachers in my county. My goal is to work as a substitute this Spring and figure out what grades and subjects I am most comfortable teaching. I’m really excited to take these steps because it will better prepare me for when I get my own classroom.
