Cheap Christmas Cards using FedEx Office Print Online – Plus a free template download

I love getting a good deal! I’m an avid couponer and so the holiday season is no exception. I love getting cheap Christmas cards without sacrificing on quality and that’s why I just finished placing my order with FedEx Office Print Online.

Cheap Christmas Cards

What if I told you I got 50 Christmas cards for less than $25?! The key to getting your holiday cards at a low price is designing them and doing a custom or flyer print order with FedEx Kinkos. It’s what I have done for cards and even party invitations. I have never had any issues with my order, but I know if there were, the representatives at my local FedEx would be happy to help.

While Shutterfly and many other sites sell cards at $1.25 each or more, I was able to get ours printed at about 42 cents each. I haven’t found a place that beats this price, so that’s why I think FedEx is the best place to order Christmas cards.

Saving money on Christmas Cards

Hear me out – postage cost matters! Mailing a postcard costs just 30 cents, but if it is larger than the 4×6 inch maximum for a postcard or square (see the highlighted text below), each card would need a 50 cent postage stamp. Depending on how many cards you are sending out, that can add up to be a big difference. Our number is 50 cards, so that saves us $10.

How to Get Your Christmas cards done

  1. Download my free Christmas card template and customize.
Add text and a photo. Then create a simple two page document, arranging 4 of each of your cards per page (letter sized). The first page should have your greeting card, while the second page should have the postcard mailing side. Save the document as a PDF.
  2. Head over to FedEx Office Print Online.
Under Document Printing, choose Flyers. Then upload your PDF document. Choose the 80 lb. bright white card stock for the best look and select the number of pages you want printed. Remember there are 4 post cards per page. Add the print job to your cart and check out. Be sure to use the code CJN915 at checkout to receive 15% off of your order (it doesn’t matter the size of your order).
*Note if you choose post cards or greeting cards, the pricing will be different (more). Following instructions in the first step is important and key to keeping your price down.
  3. Choose your pickup location (or have them shipped).
*Note even though I set my order to be picked up the next morning, my local FedEx office completed the job within 2 hours – THEY ARE FAST!

Now all we’ve got left to do is add postage and mail them out. Christmas cards are one of my favorite traditions. I love receiving cards too, and displaying them in our home. There is something so sweet about mailing a card to our loved ones that will never get old.
