Fiverr Income Reports and How You Can Use Fiverr

I’ve been an on again off again freelancer at Fiverr.com for over three years. In that time, I have made thousands of dollars working from home and I want to share how I did it. My goal for 2019 will be to update you all quarterly and share how you can also use Fiverr for your needs – whether that is to become a seller and work full time from home or become a buyer and finally get those back burner projects done.

Summary of Fiverr Revenue by year

Year Order Count  Total Revenue Comments
2015 166  $               1,098.50 Mid April through December
2016 33  $                  192.00 Jan through March then a few sporadic orders by special request
2017 7  $                    60.00 Handful of orders only by special request

As you can see, there is a huge different for each year’s revenue. So you may be asking, what happened? The truth is 2015 was the only year when I was really pushing on generating income through Fiverr. I was a full time student and working with Fiverr was super flexible because I could make my own schedule. For 2016, I started working as a substitute teacher at the end of March and so Fiverr was no longer my primary source of work. Since then, I have only worked on Fiverr via special request but I want to change that now.

I am currently down on my seller level and I’m working towards reaching Level 2 again – I need to make an additional $750 in sales to reach this goal.

How can I user Fiverr to make my life easier?

Even though I have freelanced on Fiverr, it doesn’t mean I haven’t also ordered a few gigs on there, too. Fiverr is a place with a lot of freelancers, which can complete a ton of different projects for you. It’s also easy to find a seller in any budget range – even just $5!

A few things for which I have used Fiverr gigs:

  • SEO updates on blog posts
  • Image editing to remove backgrounds (Photoshop)
  • Site testing

Time-saving Fiverr gigs you may be interested in trying:

  • Personalized holiday greeting video
  • Resume updates
  • Genealogy research
  • Cold calls
  • Graphic design

Hopefully, I will be updating you all in December with an increase in sales and some more information on what I did to get there!
